Welcome to Year 1!
We are delighted to welcome you to Year 1 and can't wait to begin an exciting year together! From our Forest School adventures to the wonderful stories that inspire our English learning, there will be lots of opportunities for children to explore, be curious and develop a love of reading.
We will also enjoy a wide range of enrichment experiences throughout the year, helping us to make meaningful connections with both the community/locality and the wider world.

Reading and Home Learning
Reading remains one of the most important ways you can support your child at home. We encourage children to read regularly, share books with family members and celebrate their growing confidence as readers. Children can also practise key maths facts through NumBots to help develop fluency and confidence.
