Welcome to Year 6!
Reading regularly at home remains incredibly important - it helps children to develop fluency, prosody and strengthens their comprehension skills.
Your child also has access to set programmes on Literacy Gold to support their spelling, comprehension and reading. Please make sure that your child’s accounts are activated and that they are completing their weekly assignments. You can access Literacy Gold here. Uniform Reminders:
Long hair to be tied back especially for PE.
Jewellery: Stud earrings which can either be covered or removed for PE. No necklaces, bracelets or rings.
Outdoor shoes:
Please bring a pair of shoes to change into for breaktimes, your child can then access areas to play beyond the main playground.
