School Meals

Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) is a UK government initiative providing free, funded lunches to all children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 in state-funded schools in England, regardless of family income, aiming to improve health, attainment, and help with living costs by ensuring every young child gets one healthy meal daily. All children in these year groups will automatically receive a daily meal (of their choice from the menu) unless they opt to bring in a packed lunch from home.
