Modern Foreign Languages at Highfields

At Highfields Academy, we enrich linguists who develop their understanding of language, culture and diversity, making meaningful connections between Spanish and English through vocabulary, etymology and communication. Through a progressive and coherently planned curriculum, aligned with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, pupils build their proficiency in speaking, listening, reading and writing, applying their knowledge with increasing accuracy, fluency and cultural awareness.
