School Uniform

We expect all pupils to wear their school uniform with pride each day as it helps foster a sense of belonging and reflects our high standards.

At the same time, we take a sensible and flexible approach to uniform expectations, particularly during periods of very hot weather. We are also committed to supporting pupils with sensory needs and will make reasonable adjustments where appropriate.

Our uniform is as follows:

  • Red sweatshirt/cardigan/hoodie (plain or with a school logo)

  • White polo shirt (plain or with a school logo)

  • Dark grey skirt, dress, shorts or trousers

  • Red & white checked or striped dressĀ

  • Plain grey, black or white socks or tights (not patterned or brightly coloured tights or socks)

  • Black school shoes or trainersĀ

We have a range of pre-loved school uniform available to purchase from the school. All items are washed, sorted and organised by our Friends of Highfields School (FOHS) volunteers, and are available to any family who would like to make use of them.

To maintain a safe and appropriate learning environment, children should not wear nail varnish, make-up or nail extensions. Pupils may wear a small, inexpensive watch and one pair of plain stud earrings. No other jewellery should be worn to school.

PE Kit

Children should wear:

  • A plain white T-shirt or school logo T-shirt

  • Navy blue or black shorts, leggings or jogging bottoms

  • Trainers or pumps suitable for physical activity

  • Red sweatshirt or hoodie, with or without the school logo.

This PE kit should be worn on designated PE days and should be clearly labelled with your child's name.
