The Caterpillar Room

Our Caterpillar Room is for our 2 year olds and early 3 year olds.

It is of a similar size, but with fewer children than the Butterfly Room due to ratio, our Caterpillar room is a great space to spread your wings and explore.

It is set out with so many areas to discover: you can work on a construction project, have fun using your senses in the messy play area or create a masterpiece in the art area.

Role play is a key focus in the Caterpillar room as we watch and learn from our peers through play. We have a role play area set up that is very popular with our children!

After all that, if you are ready for a rest, you could take some time to relax in our sensory pod.

We learn about the wonderful world around us in small and large group activities. This helps us to develop wellbeing, friendships, communication and understanding.

After a busy day with lots of outside play and maybe a walk in our enclosed woods, we always look forward to settling down in our cosy reading garden to enjoy a story or two.
